So, I think three articles per week were a bit too much for people to read, so I’m “downsizing” to two, plus this weekly recap here.
The new articles schedule looks like this:
Tuesday: new article
Thursday: new article
Saturday: weekly recap
Just FYI, you can open up my Substack page and decide which sections of my newsletter to subscribe to. If you want to get only the articles and avoid the recaps, or vice-versa, you can do so like this:
This week’s articles 📝
On Monday, I scheduled an article on how to be a good client and get the best art commissions. It contains my client experience and some best practices for handling your work relationship with the artists.
On Thursday, I shared some resources, tools, and methods I use to write, as I am about to publish my first book. It’s a fun journey that’s about to reach completion!
My trip to Portugal ✈️
Sadly, we didn’t find what we were looking for there.
We drove 2700 km in five days and visited lots of places, both coastal and inland, both tourist destinations and small villages in the mountains.
We saw hundreds of abandoned cats and dogs. We drove past beautiful scenery full of trash left at the side of the road. Most of the place screamed, “I’m old, and I’ve been left alone.” Even the shiny tourist towns in Algarve felt.. fake? As soon as we left them and went a few km inland, the situation of cats, trash, and abandoned buildings resumed.
I’ve been talking with some people in Portugal, and I’ll soon start a charity project to help the animals there. I can’t stop thinking about them. I’ll post updates as I go.
We’ll be staying in Italy, for now, and try to get a house here in this mad market.
I’m trying to open an art studio 🤓
This is a big maybe, but I feel like the time has come for me to expand beyond my individual capabilities.
I’ll spend the next few weeks looking for talented and passionate people to start building together. But first, I need a good accountant! 🙈
We’ll see how it goes.
If you enjoyed this article, I'd really appreciate it if you could forward it to a friend, or colleague who you think might like it too. If they are a creative type, they’ll surely find value in what I have to offer.
You can also help me by sharing this on your social networks. That’s always a big boost for me!
All the best,
